The service

CabTV Edge is playout software for a television channel, offered by CabTV. These terms apply from the moment you register an account.

Your account

An account belongs to one person or one company and plays on one PC: the first PC it signs in on. To move your account to another PC, ask us to release the first.

You are responsible for what is done with your user name and password.

Play hours

The software is paid for by play hours. An hour is counted only while your channel plays.

A new account is given 360 play hours at its first sign-in. Further hours are added to your account when a payment has been recorded, or when we give them.

When hours end

Before your hours end the software tells you, and a grace of play hours follows. After the grace a notice is shown over your channel's picture until hours are added. We do not stop your channel.

Your content

Your media, your rundowns and your graphics stay on your PC. They are yours and they are not sent to us.

You are responsible for having the right to broadcast what you play.

What the software sends

To count play hours and to keep an account on one PC, the software sends us a small set of facts about the PC and its use. The privacy page lists every one of them.

Suspending and ending

We may suspend an account that breaks these terms. You may delete your account at any time on your own pages; hours you have paid for are settled first.

When these terms change, the new text is published here.
