Privacy
This text is a draft. It will be confirmed before CabTV Edge is offered.
What you give us
When you register: your full name, a user name, your email address, phone number, company, address, country and language. Your password is kept only in a form that cannot be read back.
What the software sends from your PC
A key made from the PC's hardware, which says which PC your account plays on.
About once an hour while the PC is online: how long your channel has played, and the software's version.
With the consent you give at registration: a list of the PC's hardware and of the software a playout PC depends on — Windows, the graphics drivers, .NET and CabTV Edge's own parts.
Each sign-in to the software: the user name, the time, whether it succeeded, the device and the PC's network address.
A daily count: the play time and how many rundowns were added.
Only when your administrator presses Send support report: the programs, services, drivers, displays, audio devices and disks of the PC.
What is never sent
Your media files, your rundowns, your graphics and your documents. The software reads nothing from a person's own folders.
Why
To count play hours, to keep one account on one PC, to tell you when hours run low, and to help you when you ask for support.
Who reads it
Our support and administration staff. Staff who handle payments do not see the PC's lists or the logs.
On this website
The site keeps your sign-in and your choice of language in your browser. It shows no advertising and does not track its visitors.
The registration form loads a check from Cloudflare that the form is sent by a person; it is loaded on that page alone.
Deleting your account
You can delete your account on your own pages, or ask us to. What names you is emptied — in your account, in your PC's record and in every log.
What counts hours and money is kept without your name: the hours given and played, the payments, and the time and outcome of each log entry.
